INCREDIBLE SOIL DIVERSITY AND RICHNESS
The cartography of Château Lassègue's soils (Lassègue and Château Vignot together) is particularly interesting.
From the top of the plateau, or from the Saint-Émilion crest, there are calcareous soils - asteria limestones. Then on steeper and then gentler slopes, there are calcareous-clay soils in which limestone proportions vary.
The vineyard ends at the bottom of the hill with soils with grain size distribution that is thinner and ends up as silica or gravel.
